4. Payments

Payments made through our portal are processed by a third-party payment processor. SOLO does not store payment card information directly.

5. Website Forms and Portal Use

Our website may include forms such as a contact form and a new account application. Information submitted through those forms is used to respond to inquiries, evaluate account requests, and support customer service and business operations.

Our customer portal allows authorized users to view order history, shipping tracking information, invoice details, and payment-related information associated with their accounts.

6. Scans, Imaging, and App Data

Our digital tools and mobile applications may support foot scanning, order entry, and order submission.

Information entered into our applications may be stored locally on a device, transmitted to SOLO, or processed as part of scan functionality, order submission, storage, app support, or related technical operations.

Only completed orders are submitted as orders. Some information stored locally on a device may remain there until manually deleted or until the application is removed.

For certain scan workflows, scan-related images or reconstructed files may be processed or temporarily stored by service providers that support scan processing, storage, app functionality, or related technical operations.

7. 3D Scanning Solution with TrueDepth Camera Sensor

Some of our applications may use the device’s TrueDepth camera and related sensor data during scanning.

  • What information does our scanning application (or app) collect using the TrueDepth API?
During scanning, the app may collect front-facing TrueDepth camera depth information, RGB image information, and related camera metadata needed to generate a 3D scan.
  • For what purposes does the app collect this information?
The app uses this information to process the scan and generate a 3D model of the scanned object as part of the scanning workflow.
  • Will the data be shared with any third parties?
This information is used to support scanning, scan processing, storage, and related app functionality. It may be processed by service providers that support these functions, but it is not used for advertising, marketing, or other unrelated purposes.
  • Where will this information be stored?
This information may be stored temporarily on the device during scanning. Depending on the scanning workflow, certain scan-related data may also be transmitted to SOLO or processed or temporarily stored by service providers that support scan processing, storage, app functionality, or related technical operations. Information stored locally on a device may remain until manually deleted or until the application is removed.
  • What’s the policy for collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention of face data?
Our scanning applications are intended for foot scanning, not face scanning. If face data or other unnecessary imagery is unintentionally captured during scanning, SOLO does not use that data for advertising, marketing, or other unrelated purposes. Any such data is handled only as needed to support the scan workflow, troubleshooting, storage, or related service functions described in this Privacy Policy. Face data is not shared with third parties except as necessary to support those functions, and may be removed when no longer needed.

8. When We Share Information

We may share information:

  • within SOLO with employees, contractors, and authorized personnel who need access to support our operations, provide customer service, fulfill orders, maintain systems, or perform related business functions

For example:

  • uploaded order records, scan records, invoice records, and related business records maintained by SOLO may be retained indefinitely
  • some scan-related images or reconstructed files handled by service providers may be retained temporarily and deleted on a rolling or periodic basis
  • information stored locally on a device may remain until manually deleted or until the application is removed

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information collected through our website, portal, applications, and services.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Users and organizations are responsible for protecting login credentials, limiting access to shared devices, and managing locally stored data when appropriate.

11. Children’s Privacy

SOLO’s services may involve information relating to minors, including pediatric patients, when that information is submitted by a parent, guardian, healthcare provider, clinic, or other authorized party in connection with legitimate order, treatment, or service workflows.

Our website, portal, and applications are not intended for independent use by children. If we learn that information was collected directly from a child in a way not permitted by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it in accordance with applicable law.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through our website, applications, or other reasonable means.

Your continued use of our website, portal, applications, or services after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
