Scan With an iPad Pro or iPhone using FaceID Camera
Only the iPad Pro or iPhone Pro models on the list are compatible.
When using an iPhone, an iPad or M1/M2 Mac computer is required to complete order form.*
- It is important to hold the iPad Pro or iPhone vertically, not at an angle, with the front facing camera pointed towards the plantar foot. The start button should be on the top of the screen.
- If using an iPad Pro, it is highly recommended that you use a case with a hand strap so it can be held with one hand.
- For custom orthotics, begin about 8-10 inches away from the foot when it turns green. For custom AFOs, begin 14-16″ away from the foot when it turns green.
- Progress moving the iPad slowly around the foot continuing to point the camera towards the foot and watch the iPad screen.
- Capture the plantar, medial and lateral contours, and posterior heel allowing the white pixels to fill in completely.
* Although an iPhone can be used to capture the 3D scan, our current order form is designed for larger screens and will not function well on iPhones. Any iPad or a Mac computer with an M1 or M2 chip must be used to complete the order form and submit the order. Please get in touch if you would like more details about this process.
