One of the most often used phrases in our Best Places to Work Employee Feedback is that SOLO feels like a family and that team members are treated like family. At SOLO, we celebrate holidays family-style.
Before each of the major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter) SOLO hosts a breakfast buffet for our team members. A local caterer provides a full breakfast spread of scrambled eggs, creamed chipped beef, breakfast potatoes, ham and cheese scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, juice and fresh fruit salad.
Team members enjoy a full breakfast during their mid morning break. It’s just one way SOLO values our team members. Our Easter breakfast was the first breakfast for several new team members. It was a welcomed and tasty perk that they didn’t expect. For Faith Moyer, manufacturing tech, it was her first experience at the holiday breakfast. “It was amazing to celebrate the holiday with my work family at breakfast,” she said. It was a new experience for her. “I am thankful for what SOLO does for us to make us feel appreciated. They spoil us,” she added.
Danielle Tackash, manufacturing tech, was also pleasantly surprised at the celebration. “It was nice for everyone to get together and celebrate. I appreciate all the nice things SOLO does for us.”
Serve Others, Love Others means celebrating the bonds we have as coworkers, friends and being part of the SOLO family.
