Get to Know Wanda Heinly

This month’s Employee Spotlight is Wanda Heinly, who has been with SOLO for 18 years.   A stickler for details, Wanda makes sure that every SOLO custom orthotic meets our stringent quality standards.

Current role at SOLO: Quality Control and anywhere she is needed.

What is the best thing about working at SOLO? Christian based and getting to know Barry Sokol.

Family: Married to Kenny for 44 years. We have two children Jennifer and Joey, seven grandkids, three great-grandsons, two dogs, 2+cats, three hens, and two horses. 

What is your dream vacation, and why? The Holy Land. I would like to walk where Jesus walked!

What is your favorite book, and why? The Bible. God breathed truth.

What is your hobby? How did you get started in this hobby? Re purposing trash.  I have a big imagination from growing up poor in a big family.

Who is your favorite band or musician? Mercy Me, a contemporary Christian music band.

If you could meet any person (dead or alive) who would it be, and why? Paul, the apostle. I want to know what was the thorn in his side that he asked God to remove.

Enjoying a day in the snow

What is your favorite season, and why? Winter. Lots of fun memories playing in the snow, sleigh riding, and ice skating.
